Pink-G wanted a wheelchair. (She use to have one, but kept getting her hands stuck in the big wheels and hurting herself.) So, yesterday we took her a wheelchair...her left wrist is the one she broke last summer and she doesn't have very good use of that arm and hand now. So, she has to practice with her new wheelchair so that she doesn't end up going in circles:)

My Finger is Not Broken
Pink-G fell trying to "walk" from her wheelchair to her easy chair. (She forgot that she can't walk.) One of her fingers is black and red and swollen, but "it's not broken."

Wayne's Gotta Girlfriend!
PG told us today that Wayne has a girlfriend. The girlfriend is overweight and doesn't say anything and Wayne hasn't offered any details about his new woman.
Whenever PG hallucinates, the people she's "seeing" never talk. So, I suggested to PG that maybe she imagined the girlfriend since the girlfriend doesn't talk.

It's Saturday!
The assisted living called today (so soon!) to report that PG refused to take a shower today because it's Saturday:)

PG is "graceful"
An aide from PG's assisted living facility called this morning. While being showered, PG "gracefully slipped to the floor". No injury sustained.

The Best Tool Ever!

We bought PG one of those gripper tools (I'm not sure of the technical name). It's like a long stick, the handle is a trigger, and the other end picks things up that's hard to reach. Well, PG has had the tool for over a week now, and when we saw her today, she said that she didn't know how she's made it without the gripper.

Wayne, PG Won't Let You Go Hungry
When my brother moves to our area later this month, he doesn't have to worry about his meal planning. Even though he's 50 years old and has cooked for himself and his family for years, PG believes that he's not competent enough to know what to fix himself to eat after he gets here. She gave me a whole bunch of recipes that she's cut out of magazines for him. Also, she suggests that he go to the "dollar store" and buy crackers to have on hand for between meal snacks:)
